The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)
The Melbourne Cricket Ground is one of Victoria’s leading tourist attractions and a must see destination for sports lovers throughout the world. The MCG has an outstanding significance to this nation as the tenth largest stadium in the world, and largest in Australia. In 2009, the MCG was named one of the seven sporting wonders of the World.

How to get there:
Trains
There are two train stations close to the MCG. Jolimont (otherwise known as MCG Station) is north of the ground .From any railway station in the central business district, take the Hurstbridge or Epping lines.
The other station is Richmond on the south eastern side of the MCG.
To get to Richmond station from the city, take any train on the Lilydale, Belgrave, Alamein, Glen Waverley, Dandenong, Pakenham, Cranbourne, Frankston or Sandringham lines.
Trams
Three tram routes provide access to the MCG.
No. 75 (City-Vermont South) travels along Flinders St and connects with the eastern suburbs via Wellington Parade.
No. 48 (Docklands/City-North Balwyn) travels along Collins St and connects with the eastern suburbs via Wellington Parade. Both these routes stop just outside the MCG. 
No. 70 (Docklands/City-Wattle Park) travels along Flinders St then detours via Melbourne Park and the tram stop is a short walk across the footbridge to the ground.

Buses
The 246 Bus stops in Punt Road, very close to the ground.
Taxis

Taxis are available from the ground at the conclusion of each event. Otherwise the venue is a 15 minute walk from the city.

How to get there: 
Walking

Set on the Southbank of Melbourne's Yarra River on Riverside Quay, Eureka Tower is hard to miss, just look up! It's an easy walk from the CBD, Federation Square or Crown Casino.

Melbourne's Chinatown

Chinatown:
Little Bourke street or also famously known as Chinatown is located in the center of Melbourne's central business district. It is an exciting place to visit with Asian themed streets locating some of the city’s top restaurants and historic buildings. There are a range of buildings along the street itself and the small side streets leading off of it.

There is free bike parking in and around the Market. Major bike lanes leading to the Market run along Royal Parade and Victoria Street.
·         By Tram
Take the free City Circle tram. Get off at the corner of La Trobe and Elizabeth Streets and walk north to the Market. Catch any tram heading north
along Elizabeth or William Streets.
a)      From Flemington, take the 57 tram along Racecourse Road.
b)      From Moonee Ponds catch the 59 service to the Queen Victoria Market stop.
c)       If you’re in Brunswick, take the number 19 tram along Victoria Street.
